So I got this far.

Opened the Pak file, exported the Tour.atp.ini file to my desktop

Opened that file, changed the names of the tournaments, like Roland Garros instead of French Slam.

Then I put that saved new file back into the same spot the original tour.atp.ini file was. I then deleted the original tour.atp.ini file and renamed my new file tour.atp.ini

I start a new career and the tournament is still called French Slam


Where am I going wrong here?

Open Pak01 and send tour.ini to your desktop.Close Pak and than open tour ini on your desktop change name and save that.Than open Pak again and delete that tour.ini in pak and when u delete it just paste that tour.ini from ur desktop and save

edit: this is how i am getting the file onto my desktop: open qped, open TE2011 folder, Data, pak01. then root, data, tour.atp.ini I then close qped. I alter the file how I want it. I then open to the same spot, i delete the current TA.ini, and click and drag my new and improved version in that spot. Then I save, then I close qped.

I then open TE2011, start a new career, and the new tournaments and names are not there. However, I did change the TET500 to ATP 500 in the language file. Is there another place that I need to change the names at?




Thats what I have been doing. After I do all these steps i open TE2011 and create a new character on the ATP side, go into the tournament selection, still says Australian Slam.

Edit the .ini in the "Data" subfolder, not the ones in the .Pak files.

Can I add Satellite tournaments to the career, if so, what are the tournament categories for them?

Check TourCategory.ini, there are already 2 for the Satellites.
But they'll work like normal tournament (ie: in real life, Satellites go by 4, and the best players of the 4 tournaments get a bonus, if I recall well)
