Help with creating strike animations

I know there might already be a topic for creating strike animations here & I've read the whole topic and the attachments are all corrupt, so I was wondering if anyone or manu could "teach" or tell me some of the basics of using the 3DS Max 8 program, I mean I only thought of doing this a while ago and so I want to make a new serve and 2 volley animations and i got the program with absolutely no idea how to use it. would I require anymore programs to help me with any of this?

And before I even try any of this, would it be possible to make a swinging volley strike animation (one that Sharapova uses)? And have the character hit the ball like at the level of a low smash?

How do you think you will implement the animation into the game so it recognizes the use of the animation for an aggressive approach volley?

Loon-a-tic,
I re-uploaded the files in the other topic.
With 3DS Max, there are plenty of tutorial to learn how to do animation. If you're familiar with any 3D modeler, then it needs about 2 full days to get started on animating stuff (and a few weeks of practice before to get really good result ;) ).

The volley animation u'll create will replace the existing one, though ; it won't be possible to make it happen only on high volleys.
