Hello manutoo,
Recently, while playing matches in World Tour, my matches have been lagging quite terribly. Strangely, it doesn't happen when I play a match in Training Club mode.
I was just wondering if you had any solution for that.

Do you think it may be related to the version of DirectX? Meaning we should install DirectX9?

there's a Mod that shows Country flag during Davis Cup and that makes the game lag. Maybe it's what you got. Do a search in the forum for the fix (I think it's somewhere).

Oh ok so you mean that every match with a scoreboard showing a flag makes the game lag? That would explain why the game lags during Davis Cup and Australian Open matches. (but I don't know for the rest)

And I'm sorry to say that I can't seem to find something about that in the forum.

Manutoo, the flags seem to be the real problem, because I've tried to delete the Flags file in Menu/art/ico and now the flag doesn't appear in-game but the game seems to lag very little now.
Do you know if there is a way to keep the flags and prevent the lagging?

Hey Maxou, how did you do to reinstall TE2013 version 1.0h? Can you help me? Also, did it delete your World Tour career progress, or was it still saved?

yes, someone published a fix ; it was many years ago, and I can't find it, but it's somewhere on the Forum... (I just remember it was a French modder who did a lot of stuff on the menu script and I helped him to do that fix)

Interesting! I will see if I can dig it out because I'd like to find a solution for this problem as well. I have two mods, one works with the flags and the other one lags.
When I get time, I will check both menu scripts to see if I can spot any difference in them.

If I do manage to find the solution - I will let folks know in this thread.
