First of all, I'm just speechless at that tremendous work. I know there are some incredible tenacious modders here - but to have the patience and determination to build a patch already for a season baffles me - so I have no words for such a complete system. Just WOW.

Myself and a few others have managed to do so, so providing you're using the WTAMOD2011-2013 and followed the installation instructions I can't see how anything could be going wrong?
I'm having the same issue, and I'm starting to understand when and why. It takes two forms: Either I can't start after 2006 - or I manage to start a career later, but at some point my saves are invalid. Once I started a 2006 career, and the game crashed the first Fed Cup week - the system.log taught me that the game had loaded only some hundred players, there were merely byes in draws, and there were not enough players for Fed Cup. It makes sense.
It's happening when I make some changes in the Players.WTA. To fix the issue, I had just to reinstall the initial Players.WTA. Writing the initial version manually won't help.
That's the point that I don't understand. I'm used to modding that file in the regular TE, I didn't change any career length. I understand that changing country might result in problems for Fed Cup - but not if I change the only Kirghiz player to make her an Icelander
. And that the saves are invalidated when I modify an outfit code never happened to me before.
There are indeed a few things that don't work properly - which is inevitable because of the whole task! - and I don't mind trying and fixing them when they occur, but the former experience restrains me from putting my fingers too deep in it.
- Some country codes don't match in the Players.WTA and the Countries file: Germany, Switzerland, Croatia. I noticed it when so many players from those countries were playing for Andorre
. To fix it, I modified the code in the Players file, but the above mentioned error occurred. So I modified the Country file and it worked. (see attachment)
- Some outfits are strange, and the game won't save my changes, so I tried to modify the code (Kvitova is my second player and it doesn't look like her at all). Said error occurred. I don't know what to do here.
- The court assignment for qualies seems wrong: I played the Sydney qualies in Hobart and the AO qualies in Paris indoors
. Not a big deal, since I don't really know how this works and I don't want to learn yet, I'm just mentioning it for information.
I wonder if some of the issues I have have to do with the fact that I play with 4 players in the career mode, it seems that the game saves the changes for the first player but not the other three (I'm not totally sure about that yet).
And if I am the only one with those specific problems, I'll assume that something went wrong during downloading or unarchiving.
Anyway, I'll go on and see how far I can go with that mod, because it's a lot of fun - even if I prefer 3D courts, I find it really nice to have that variety of pictures beyond the baselines!

Are you using google chrome to download? Should be no issues if you use that browser.
