The End of the Forum?

Postby Maxou » 13 Jul 2015, 20:27

I have a bad feeling ......... is this the end of the real modders 2013 TE, for my part I do what I can to make you share my work, but without real motivation, my game staff is modded for my pleasure, I do not need anything. There are 2 years old, I knew nothing, I fumbled, trying to understand the workings of this wonderful game, Where are the great modders I have known and have given me want to share my knowledge and little knowledge on this great community that was regularly on this forum ....... for my part, I improved my own patch for my personal use. I think STEAM to hurt the Forum, but so is evolution, too bad ......... :(

Maxou,
slow down started probably around beginning of 2014. Game is old now, so it lost some users... And Steam actually helped to bring new players who also want to Mod their game and so they come in the Forum as well (even if they didn't create new stuff by themselves :P ).

Nice to know that manu, i thought that forum in Steam was kinda dead, more than this, i guess that new users from Steam ending up here and solved their questions, most of them at least. :P

And agree with you, most of the greatest modders retire in 2014: Sam, Torto, Lucian, Jaydraco, Nigogu, and some others.

But isn't Miharu coming with his patch? Lucian is doing very high quality anims, deniz does his high quality outfits. So the forum isn't so dead of the mods... :?

The real question now is how many boxes of chocolate has been sent to megyaem by Nigogu to get into that list... .... ':D

in reality, miharu is too busy so he might take more time to finish his mod, wich i understand, Lucian only release Monfils Pack as a new attraction, he just did a revamped from his previous anims, dont get that wrong, that is great, but is not new, so is the same. I dont know bout the rest, since i dont play TE in a looong time, i donwloaded one of the last courts from Crel, thats all.

I thought that a mention would be good enough for our little friend, since he was a big pain in the ass all over the forum, so let him enjoy a little bit this moment ':D

It is indeed a pity. Hopefully more people will come.
I liked to mod, but due to time constraints I can't do it anymore. I was working on a revamping of the tournaments menu, but I had to stop for a while, unfortunately :(

As me for example ! I come from Steam.
Hope my french sound mod brings some "fresh" content to the game,
I'm not a real modder, more a passionate player,
but I'm as well a graphic designer in real life so I plan to create a whole new UI for TE2013,
something maybe more professional, more "flat".
I work as well on a flat scoreboard which I create specially for TE with custom sans serif typeface, it's not a real life scoreboard.
The template will be the same for all the courts, like ATP scoreboards, but only the color will change, according to the colour of the courts.
I'll try to publish screenshots during the week.
Cheers ! :)
