Hello everyone,
I wanted to make some mods for this great game but I'm not good in creating courts, animations, scoreboards etc. so I decided to make umpire voices. I started with my favourite umpire Damián Steiner but in the future I want to make more umpire voices.

1) Damián Steiner:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/namxoppz129zb4z/Dami%C3%A1n+Steiner+voice_Miami+Open+2015.zip
I had to improvise here because it's from Djokovic-Ferrer QF at Miami this year and there wasn't any 2nd serve net and also any usable 15-40 call (because commentators talking) so I had to cut and join two files together and it' not ideal. When I finally finished the job and started to test it in game, I found out that its too quiet. So I had to make sounds louder in Audacity. Now I think its good and usable.

How to install:
Without mods:
1) Go to "Sound" folder in TE folder.
2) I recommend to backup all Ann_ files.
3) Copy all files from .zip archive and overwrite everything.
4) Make sure you have in game umpire announcements set to "English".

With mods (ITST example):
1) Go to "Mods" folder, then open ITST mod folder and then open "Sound" folder
2) I recommend to backup all Ann_ files.
3) Copy all files from .zip archive and overwrite everything.
4) Make sure you have in game umpire announcements set to "English".

Hi!! I will absolutely try your voices. Just two questions:
1. How to put them in the game??
2. How did you make the sounds louder?? can you tell me how?? I have the same problem with a couple of files... thanks :D

EDIT: i solved problem no. 2; but I still don't know how to put those files in the game...

Thanks :D just tried them and... they're AMAZING!!! Great job, incredible stuff!! Keep going :D
If you can do "requests", can you do something in Italian language?? For examble, Rome Masters 1000 will start in a week, it will be great if you can do some sounds in Italian, because they are one of the only things that are missing at the moment! Thanks a lot :D

Well I was planning to do mainly English speaking umpires but !maybe! I will try. Which umpire you want? Unfortunately I can't record matches, I need to download them from internet.
Anyway thank you for praise, its big motivation for me. 8-)

Thanks for making this pack - I started making a pack with Asderaki and Cicak a while ago but never got round to finishing it! When my exams are over I'll probably pick it up again.
I've got a couple of points of feedback, I hope that's alright!
  • Adv, 40-0, 40-15, 40-40 all only seem to have audio in the right channel?
  • You can hear a commentator start to speak at the end of 30-40 - I think the clips would sound more seamless in game if you used the fade in/out effects in Audacity at the beginning and end of each clip!
But other than that, they're great!

1) Yes, I noticed it too but its not my fault
2) Yes, I know about that. I wasn't able to cut it more so I let it be. What are these effects doing?

As an example, this is a grunt that I made:

The sound fades to silence at the end, so for example if the crowd is making noise in your umpire announcements you won't hear the sound abruptly stop in game - instead it will smoothly fade.

Work plan-update 30/5/2015:
I don't have much time now but when holiday starts in July I will start working.
1) I will release new improved version of Steiner voices pack.
2) I will probably release Pascal Maria English, Carlos Bernardes English and Carlos Ramos English voices during holidays. But it will depend on how many materials I will be able to get from internet so it might change.
