This is a match between me and Kaptain Krunch. I won the last match that we played, yesterday, 6-1. With this second match, he really played better than I did, and I was lucky to have won it. I'm going to replay the first match to see what he changed. I did notice that his player is very short, and maybe this made some of his serves stay low after the bounce.

He is a very good server. Also, he is a very fair player. We had several desynchronizations, but I think that they were in the first game only. With all of these, it was clear who should have won or lost the point, and he was kind enough to let me serve an ace if the point should have gone to me. I know that not everyone does this, but it seems to be a pretty fair way of handling these issues (when it is clear who would have won the point).

Volley action, extreme! I finally beat this Djokovic! I played him so many times and lost. I had been having to volley with almost every point to win, but this time, I combined that with taking advantage of his lame second serve and also with hitting the ball as hard as I could and as an extreme an angle as I could several shots in a row when he was serving. I had to use top spin shots often to be able to clear the net when I was too close to the ball, but I made it!

ManuTOO, about the only volley shot, I guess, that I seldom used was the volley drop shot, as it was pretty difficult to use. However, I have used it many times in previous matches with him with much success. Often, it is useful to bring him just a little closer to the net so that I can pass him easily after he returns it. Also, you may want to do something about his second serve. It is almost always to the same, or almost the same, spot. Only a few times maybe during this match did he change it. Since I knew pretty much where it would come to, I was able to hit it quickly and hard, such that I often hit a winner return.

Now, concerning realism, is it realistic that this Djokovic should be able to run so much during one match and return 5 - 6 extremely angled volleys per point, often three or four times in a row? If you will watch the match, you will see how many times he gets to balls that seem impossible to return. You may see this and decide that it is just as it should be, and that is fine, too, as I really enjoy it either way (and I am no tennis expert, anyway).

CC, the run to reach many volleys has already been discussed several times... I think in ur case, there's also the fact that ur volley skills are still quite low, thus ur volleys are very slow, giving many time to ur opponent to reach them...

OK. Sorry I missed the discussion about about volley returns; I know that I posted many comments about this, but I must have missed the discussion from others. That's a good point about the slow volleys and my skills. It just seems that the opponent would tire eventually. Thanks.

CC, I forgot to answer about the 2nd serve... It's coz u play in Junior mode, so the CPU serves mostly in the middle...

u need to have demos from the same build number for the replay to work correctly...
Old demos will load, but usually, they'll be desync all the time...

Here are my matches in Us Open. I forgot to record my match (one of my best) against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Davis Cup :(
2009-06-05.20-20 - S.Spa vs R.Gas 6-1 6-2 7-5.dmo.zip
This was in 1/8 finals of Us Open. Richard Gasquet was 4-2 against me in H2H, he was always hard to beat. Luckyly I could manage my nervous and I won.

2009-06-07.19-41 - S.Spa vs R.Nad 6-4 6-3 6-4.dmo
Except the first two matches against Rafa, I won every match against him (4-2). His top spin didn't make me any effect, though it was a long match (more than 1 hour).

2009-06-12.18-59 - S.Spa vs J.Sou 7-6 6-1 6-1.dmo.zip
Nothing to say about this, the first set was very tough but then I took the control of the match and didn't have any problem.
