Hi all,

First, what an amazing mod. Thank you for all your hard work, my brother and I are having a blast with the offline world tour. However, I'm having a couple issues:

1. Scoreboards in offline training club don't work. I have tried all the suggestions (looking in tennis.ini if using default profile, also looking in profiles just in case) and the line mentioned in other n posts is not in tennis.ini. I have seen a few people ask this question on this topic and people keep giving them the link that gives directions (that they have already tried). Can someone please acknowledge my question without posting the same link/info that keeps being posted (like what Sam has on the first post on this thread, that does not work). I was driving myself crazy trying to figure it out last night. Screenshots of the process would help not only me but others as well.

2. Some of the courts look awesome, but I have a problem with a few of the courts in world tour have text/logos on the promo boards around the court conflicting with eachother. Almost like the BNP Paradis information is on every court. Do you know a fix to this?

3. The customization is so deep in this mod, so realistic, I love it. But why do certain players (like Sampras) seem to have a gumby feel to them when moving around on the court?

4. This isn't an issue, just a question : do scoreboards during world tour automatically change depending on the tournament you are playing in? I've only seen one, but I haven't played davis cup or any of the big tournaments. If not, how do I change it?


Any help would be appreciated. I love this game and plan on trying my own hand at modding it as well.

1) In your tennis.ini, press Ctrl+F on your keyboard and type in Customhud and Bingo it's there...

2) Not sure what you mean? It sounds like you are playing the Davis Cup courts ....

3) Sampras has never been modded in this patch along with a few others.

4) Yep, they change automatically.

In regards to customhud, it's not there. I've tried the control F search numerous times, also searching manually. It's not in my tennis.ini. can you post a screenshot showing it? (You can use imgur or something to post)

Also, I didn't know Sampras wasn't modded. His serve looks right. Was hoping Sampras and some of the other great classic players was fully modded.

Couple of last questions..

1. I saw that another modded made a legends mod thay includes accurate swings and movements for classic players like pete sampras. How would I replace the Sampras in sams megapatch with his sampras?

2. The only issue I have with Tennis Elbow is the sluggish player movements at times (almost like exaggerated foot planting). Is there a way in the games configuration that I could up the players general move speed? Not talking about a players speed rating via his attributes (because even a high one they still feel sluggish sometimes), but I'm guessing there is an overall "speed parameter" just for the players. An example of issues with this: no way to run back and get a lob if it gets over your head, in real life b players get back a lot. When a drop shot is done, even if your player in real life would have a reasonable chance at getting to it, you have no chance in this game.

3. Is there a way to incorporate the ITST menus into sams megapatch?

4. I am trying to put the scoreboard in the top left (The light scoreboard). However, just changing the position of the scoreboard in tennis.ini doesn't work for MOVING the scoreboard to the left. I see in another post that I have find Hudabove file to put in the coordinates.However, with Sams patch, I don't have the folder that contains the file. How would I edit this in Sams patch?

The Menu folder for scoreboards is in your data/pak.03, you'll need to download Pakscape to access it http://www.fileplanet.com/50620/50000/fileinfo/PakScape.
Also, if you click on art in your menu, you can change the game menus in the bg and ico folders.

Perfect, thank you! I'll try these when I get home. I'm guessing I can just open the art files with a basic program. I did quite a bit of modding for NBA 2k 14 but I'm just starting to get into this.

Hopefully there is a parameter for general speed of the players. Like I said, I think that is the biggest problem with the gameplay. Nobody in real life tennis moves that slow back and forth. Changing directions in general is to slow, but I doubt there is a parameter that just targets that. I thought that I might find something in the game sys file.... no luck.

This install is perfect with the exception of two things...

1. Some of the courts are white, I followed the instructions to a T. On the original post (not repack), it states to move the courts from Court ATP to a certain folder. However, I can't locate court ATP in repack, is there a fix?

2. For some of the courts, the text around the court runs together. Almost like two courts are conflicting. What causes this?

The main tour courts just need to be in the Sam Megapatch 2013 - DATA folder.

This can happen when a court_used JPEG image is conflicting with the court JPEG image.
Go through all of your CustomCourts and if you see a court_used underneath the court - remove it and see if it's any better.

In the repack, there were no instructions to move anything. That's why it's confusing. I looked in my folders last night, and it looks like all the custom courts are where they are supposed to be (in mods/sams megapatch/data.

I'll take another look when I get home and try the other thing.

I remember been confused about the same thing when I first downloaded the patch ...

Also, just check that in your in game video option that the 3D Court is switched off.

I actually prefer the 3d court to the 2d picture courts in a lot of cases. The white court thing only happens on the 3d courts option. The other thing that bugs me is that when I WANT to choose the 2d court, the camera angle is horrible and can't be adjusted in the game. I am guessing that it could be adjusted in the files somehow.

The other thing that's odd, I edited the all_hud.def or whatever and the ATP scoreboards are exactly where I want them (top left), but when I tried hud_ao for the Australian open, the scoreboard when back to the default position on bottom left. Why is that happening?
