Yes, I have installed DirectX SDK - it did not change anything in 3ds max. Still have that notification on problems loading the file, so I am unable to send you x.file exported with kwxport attached to your post, just with the other version of that xporter - is that fine?

That thing for converting files into Mac is very useful :) Thank you :)
Yep - they were converted to low poly as well :)

Hi Manu/everyone

the new hairstyles have installed fine on the mac :) i'm just having a problem getting two of them to fit inside the hat/headbands.

Just like in the picture below.

I know i've had this problem before and fixed it using the "model" parameters under Hair in female.ini

[Female/Hair]
PosX = 310
PosY = 517
Model = Hair01 1 Hair02 2 Hair03 3 Hair04 4 Hair05 5 Hair06 6 Hair07 7 Hair08 8 Hair09 9 Hair10 10 Hair11 11 Hair12 12 Hair13 13 Hair14 14 Hair15 15
DependOf = Hat
ModelA = 0
ModelB = 3-190
ModelC = 1-2

I've tried many different combinations but styles 12/13 & 15 do not work with the hats.

The three affected appear to be modelled from hairstyle #1 (the bun)

anyone have any ideas?

do not use "kwxporter-bak.dle" . Only use the plugin I gave in this topic. Turn off your antivirus or add the plugin to its exception list.

I don't know how to load .package in 3DS Max. If it's supposed to work with 3DS Max, but not with the 8, it might mean it requires a more recent version of 3DS Max.

But I tested it with antivirus and I do not get virus detected so it is not the problem...:shrug:

Okk, will try to explore it a little bit more ;)

miharu0607,
no, I'd need the .x from the correct plugin ... If you have time, try to figure out why it's not loading it (ie: do a google search on 3ds Max Plugin + the error code).
Maybe it could be a problem with DEP mode of Windows 7 ; if its support is turned on in your Win7, try to turn it off.

peteypan,
I guess miharu0607 didn't create the hair models for these caps ; the only solution is that he creates them (it's what has been done for existing hairs).

Hele.,
were you able to use the latest plugin before or you always used the "-bak" one ..?

I was trying to find out why it's not loading yesterday - but i was typing the name of the error with the name of the plugin. I will try later with just name of the error.

I have two situations with mistakes.
1) Using just latest plugin - have message of error at start and do NOT have possibility to export .x file
2) Using plugin and "-bak" file - have message of error at start but DO have possibility to export .x file

1. Wait for the update of the official game, which will contain the new hairstyles.
2. Wait for the WTA patch comming soon.
3. Ask for them to miharu or manutoo.

Everybody,
here a new version of the plugin ; it should be same than before, except it's flagged as not supporting DEP, so maybe that'll solve its loading issue (but really not sure :fear: ).

Hele.,
ok, so you actually never exported using the correct plugin, thus the bad result. Maybe it was the same for miharu0607.

After searching for information why that plugin is not loading, I only found a hint - that it may be related to not having direct x 9.0c, but then it would be strange as you are also using Win 7. The thing is that preinstalled direct x on Win 7 is direct x 11.

And yes - the new one is not loading as well Image
Would it be possible to export it from higher version of 3dsmax? Or it is similar like with anims?

Also I am getting runtime error when I am trying to export playermale model (however still using wrong version of kwxporter :/ - but i just wanted to check how big the file with Dustin Brown's hairdo is going to be).

You must have messed something with the settings of export.
Solution: wait for Peter's patch or wait for Manu's update (but i have to add caps versions).
