I prefer to trust anti-virus, and anyway the file is not loading in 3dsmax, despite using service pack etc. So again bad advice :whistle:

you need to use the plugin in the main folder, not in the backup folder. If you don't use it, there's nothing I can do to help you.
As pointed by Nigogu, AVG gives you a false positive, so turn it off a few minutes or add the plugin file to its exception list.
Look here the analysis result : https://www.virustotal.com/fr/file/62be ... 389922734/ . 47 negatives, 1 positive... Who's right, who's wrong..? :whistle:
And as I already said, the settings are saved in the .max file, they can't be wrong, just don't touch them.

Manu so then why hele couldnt export it properly? She used the plugin... And she had the same result as i had. I also wrote that apart of the virus detection, also 3ds max is giving info on error loading it.

Nigogu just shut up, better try to do something cause u re childish and annoying. Maybe get finally ur copy of the game and play it, instead of trying to be a smartass.

Hele didn't explain what was the issue, but I guess it's either she didn't use the correct plugin or she messed up the model.
1st step is to export the current .max without doing any modification & check it's loaded correctly by the game.
If it's alright, then add your modification and if the loading isn't working anymore it means your modifications create the issue (in that case be sure to follow the conventions of the existing models, matching name & stuff).
If it's not, then it's either the wrong .max, the wrong plugin or the wrong version of 3DS Max (including Service Pack 3).

But ok, we move on - the kwxporter is visible as one of the extensions in export.

So default settings as you have said:

3dsmax 8, the same one used for animations, the plugin u attached in plugins and sdtplugins folder.

as I said, try 1st with the original .max file , don't do any modification.
Right now it looks like you applied a modifier which messed up the normals & maybe the mapping. It could be also a problem with the plugin.
To remove the plugin loading warning, check if you need to unblock the file => http://cdn.howtogeek.com/wp-content/upl ... mage10.png (from this article => http://www.howtogeek.com/70012/what-cau ... remove-it/ )
The initial settings are correct.
Lastly, if everything else is alright, put the textures in the .rar in the Maps folder ; create or copy any file for the ones missing, it doesn't really matter.

I've tried and the same bugs are visible.

I haven't applied any modifiers - I just have copied hair06 three times (renamed it into hair07, 08, 09), moved some vertexs - so they are already rigged to bonehead and envelopes are on.
I've placed textures in maps folder.

yup, I can export your .max without problem (game isn't too happy with it coz of bone count, but it's still displayed like expected).
Just to be sure, I attached my current plugin to this message (I checked 3 times it was identical to the one in OP, but who knows :fear:). Delete everything kW X-port related in your Plugins folder & unrar this one there.
For version, I checked : Help -> About 3DS Max -> Release -> 8.0 SP3 Commercial .

Humm.... Just though about something... If you installed 3DS Max in "C:\Program Files (x86)" maybe there's some problem with access to the plugins folder. Maybe try to reinstall Max in "C:\3dsMax8" (or maybe put the plugin in "C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\3dsMax8\Plugins" )
