what a fantastic news~!!!!

I've been a big fan of your animations, which is so nice~!!

I have to thank Del potro to make you inspire to do it~!!!!

Personally, I'd like to see Thiem's backhand which is hard to adopt other player's animation..

still, Del potro pack will be absolutely great for all TE users for sure!!!!

I hope Del potro has never get injured again...!!!

Thanks in advance and Looking forward so much to it!!!!!!!!!  :bounce: :bounce:

I'm happy to announce that a animation pack will be released soon in honour of the great comeback of one of the most beloved player on the tour, the argentine Juan Martin Del Potro. It will include, as usual, every single animation from the serve to the return of serve.

This doesn't mean I came back to the TE Animation Activity (still retired, sorry). It is an exception to the rule that was due to Del Potro.

I'm still working on the serve. The rest is almost finished (needs some final touches).
I'm very happy with the forehand. I took a little inspiration from Megyaem's version as it had a very nice feeling so I wanted to preserve that (in particular the preparation phase). An initial version of it looked good visually but didn't feel quite right playing with it. Changed the preparation accordingly and was very satisfied with the result.

The backhand proved to be more challenging and still not 100% on board with it but close enough.

Stay tuned

Hi Manutoo (hope you read this asap)

I'm about to release Del Potro Animations. I have an issue with generating the .anim file for the acceleration versions. It works ingame but the .anim file it's not generated. Only the .x one is there (which obviously I can release publicly).

Can you help ?

Thanks

Here's a lazy video of the animations

im very happy with ur anims @Lucian :D another great work, specially the FH, wich its the signature stroke from Delpo, u got the termination of it pretty smoothly and perfect than mine, and it looks awesome now :jap:
Service is also cool, that pause in the ball toss, its very accurate and smooth! :jap: :applause:

Regarding bh and slice, i didnt see it AS Delpo strokes yet, i watched the video an i didnt get convinced, but i still can figure out what gave me that feelin, so sorry i cant give any constructive suggestion yet
But i cant complaint, your work is fenomenal as always, i can see that u still have the touch, and u didnt leave animations in this whole time

Agree with Meg , i don't know if Delpo hit that kind of backhand anymore ( he said that he just used the backhand to hit the ball over the net , no acceleration ??? )
Other works , incredible :D

Lucian86,
hum, did you put your .x inside the Mods folder ? It may not work there.
Could you post a screenshot of your anims folder and one of the content of your .txt ?
Alternately, set your acceleration anim to a normal one and convert it like this (it might be how I intended to be done, I didn't touch this for years, kinda have forgotten the details now ;) )

Hi Manutoo

Yes. It is a Mods folder.
I think it might be something related with the fact of using Windows 10
Anyway, I will do it as you suggested tonight
