It is his to say or not say. We all appreciate him very much. But, the word "few" is one of the most indefinite words we have in the English language, and he said that almost two weeks ago. So, I was just feeling around to see if he had anything new to give us.

Yes, a little rude, but it's because: You are a little impatient, Sam does what he can, he has many things to do and this is like a hobby for him.
There isn't an obligation for him, but yet works hard to deliver as soon as possible this patch.
And he will do it soon, so, please be a little more patient.

I asked how it was coming. By your responses, one would think I told him to "hurry the hell up!" Which I didn't. You decided to infer impatience and ingratitude.

Even if he sounded like impatient, it still doesnt justify that you can be rude freely with him whenever you want.
