Hey buddies!

If you want to have a foretaste about what some of the future English commentary samples will sound like, just have a look at those highlights of a match I took part in at Wimby on the ITST tour.

Of course, you won't be able to hear the samples in their whole as these are highlights and I had to cut some sentences short to give video some some kind of dynamics. In other words, I hust wanted to make your mouth water :-)

Hi El Croato,
can you try some chair umpire sounds in German and Spanish for tournaments like Halle and Madrid?
Thanks :)

Hi buddy! :)

This is a good idea.

I will try to include those in one of my future updates. In real life, I think the umpire first announces the score in the language of the country the tournament is based in and then tells the result in English. So should I create "bilingual" or "monolingual" samples, what would you suit you most?

Also, you would all agree that Lahyani will still be the best choice for those German and Spanish samples (I noticed he has a pretty decent pronunciation in German and Spanish, to say the least), wouldn' you? :)

well, the most awesome thing that could be do it is that every umpires talk in every lenguage depends of the tournaments, spanish, emglish,Italian , german, .. but Im guessin that is impossible, right el croato?

Great to hear that! I prefer bilingual since is more real, but i don't know if it would be too long and the umpire will continue saying the score during the next point, in that case it should be better monolingual.
I agree that Lahyani is the best choice for this samples, you can find good videos of him in youtube for that tournaments. Good luck! :D

Like Nigogu said, this does not sound too impossible to make happen. I think the best way to implement it would be to create a chair umpire sounds selector for more flexibility instead of "imposing" particular chair umpire sounds to TE users because some may not like hearing German or Spanish calls even when they take part in a Germany or Spain-based tournament. :)

El Croato Sound Package 2.0 (remastered)

Just a quick one, buddies.

I am going on holiday tomorrow. As I already told some of you, I had been trying to remaster my shot sounds and I am offering you hereby my freshly updated sound modding work.

As far as new features are concerned, I can mention German chair umpire sounds (Mohamed Lahyani, of course :D ), extended HD English Commentary (more than 20 sayings) and customized Ann_Set1 and Ann_Set2 files, which are actually 30-second ATP music triggering when the set statboard appears. Those who do not want to have that "music break", just don't paste the Ann_Set1 and Ann_Set2 files contained in all chair umpire sounds folders.

I had also been working on new shot sounds, namely Rome and Basel. However, I have not had the time to finalize them so you will have to wait for me to come back from holiday. ;-)

Just a little warning: I strongly recommend you to install the English commentary manually (see How_to_Install Guide). However, ITST users playing with the ITST mod 1.15 sound.ini can directly paste the sound.ini file located in the HD English Commentary folder of my pack.

The sound package 2.0 contains :
1. Chair Umpire Sounds (English, French, German *New*)
2. HD World Tour Finals Sounds
3. HD Indian Wells Sounds
4. HD Roland Garros Sounds
5. HD Wimbledon Sounds
6. HD Australian Open Sounds
7. HD US Open Arthur Ashe Stadium Sounds
8. HD US Open Auxiliary Court Sounds
9. Net and Out Sounds
10. HD English Commentary (extended *New* - manual installation recommended)
11. Federer 'Come On' Sound

Have a nice holiday and see you! :D
