We were playing our very tight match and then my connection went dead because my pc isn't running completely well yet...but I'm here now...strange.

But you played that match all the way to the end, didn't you? Did you ask him about swapping applications? You could ask him instead of making a question here.
Tell me more about Lucky switching the applications. How often did he really do it?
