We continue to follow the ATP schedule because that is way cooler (who wants to play the US Open in May?). But in order to keep rankings fresh and allow new players to rise quicker, we have points on a 26 week cycle instead of a 52 week. For example, US Open points will go away in March, six months after the US Open. So at certain times there will be no points for anyone counted for half the tournaments.
I don't like it at all, It will be total mess at some times, playing tournaments several months before they're counted...?...So your whole Idea is based on US Open to be played in September not in may. In other words you want 6 months tour like we proposed, but you want it to be played during 11 months just because of US Open. Not exactly like that, but almost.
What about other 26 (22 weeks of tournaments)...so if we don't count tournaments why would we play in them!? Just wasting of time.
I still don't see a reason why we need to follow RL Tennis? We have barely 30 active players at one moment...we don't need 11 months season.
