@ stuey

I think it's fun that we follow the real atp, the same tournaments...but I don't see why we should do that in the same time period as the real atp! lol So yeah I have nothing against having 2 seasons.

Wow you asked two people(who probably didn't even spend time really thinking about the issue, because if they did there is absolutely no way they could agree with you)...that's an exhaustive discussion considering all parties.

Just for once admit you were wrong and it's all good. :D

just in case you didn't read my previous post, here:

one of the ideas we came up with was that we 'shrink' our 1year tournament season into a 6months season. that way tournaments would be more dynamic. we would have 2 seasons in 1 year. the other thing is there are lot of players who apply for tournaments, make a good score, and then disappear for different reasons (examples: marat safin, allez amelie... of course - bajko and s.williamz, etc etc), and by shrinking the season, we would at least partially solve this problem.
on the other side, we wouldn't follow RL tournaments anymore, and we would have to get rid of half of tournaments, so we would have like 4 grand slams, 6 (or 7) masters series tournaments, and certain number of other tournaments, all of them in 6 months time.
and this would affect rankings in this way: the entry period would be reduced to 26 weeks, which means last 26 tournaments would count for entry rankings. and every new tournament would kick the oldest on that list of last 26 tournaments out.

well, if it's still crazy to you, ok ;)

I know Safin and he would never agree to something so stupid. Don't know about Kyuuji but I doubt it. Definitely no if I talked some sense to them in this issue lol.

Well you're not exactly the most convincing person in the world...but as I said, if you had included me in whatever discussion you had with Safin, he would not have agreed with you.

And in the end, I want to remind you of my main point, which is that you cannot accuse someone of having new ranks because you did it yourself as a mod. Do you understand? It makes you a hypocrite.
