Chiller (IND) [2] def. Zuzana Ondraskova (USA) [7] 7-6(4), 6-2.

As usual with Chiller, there was a complete tactic change at the end of the first set. Hitting lobs on just about every shot, especially returns. And with the poor connection between USA and India, it was a very smart strategy, as I had a lot of trouble reading the slow ball as lobs peaked the ping into four digits.

Good job Chiller, and congrats on getting revenge for Beijing :D.

Ro. Fed and yu-gi-oh...what are you waiting for??

And one more thing, because Dementieva and Ljubicic couldn't be at internet at the same time, and because deadline for 2nd round is long gone (they had 8 days to play that match), but they didn't played, and because nor Stuey nor Chiller is online (i'm waiting for chiller for 4h now), I had to decided by myself what is going to happen. And i decided to do a Random Luck.

Winner of that match based on Random Luck is Ivan Ljubicic

I know that this is little controversial because one of them is my next opponent, but I assure you that I didn't set up the winner in any way.
If Dementieva was here today, he could have contacted me I was here all day...ps. I can't see you if you're on appear offline

I used www.random.org to make that decision

I also played a reserve match at that time with Ivan

BlackyM - I. Ljubicic 7-5, 6-3

explanation:

I did RL in about 18:30, I decided to wait for Chiller until 20h to see if Elena maybe contacted him.
Then at 19:10 I asked Ljubicic to play at that time reserve match against me (because I must go in about 15min from now), so that tournament can be completed as soon as possible. (he did not know about result of RL, i even told him that I didn't do it yet, and I have screen of that)

I won that match, and still waited for Chiller 25mins, but he didn't showed up...so I posted "my" (random.org) decision

ps. I took every single screen so that can back up my story, elena has message, chiller has message too about RL that I did, before I played Ivan.

If you have any questions, specially elena, contact me tommorow.
