reserve match

tati cornet def. dand 63 16 63.

good match.

dand says he is bad on hard. it's not true.as always against him i win the first set and he wins the second. he broke me at the beginning and in my following serve game i lost every point. i tried to break him again, but couldn't. in the third, it was close until 3-3. i waited for my 3 bp to win it.

hope to play you soon, you are very good.

reserve match

tom paulman def. tati cornet 76 (3) 76 (2)

why did i accept to play this match today ????lol

seriously, i really made mistakes, but he played very well. i was maybe too full of confidence because i won in metz against him.

in the first i leaded 2-0 but he came back and in the third i had 2 bp (0 for him) but wasn't able to convert it.

i really badly played in the tb.

hope to be better in madrid :(

As tati cornet said, we played a reserve match, but we both have to beat our 2nd round opponents first.

The screenshot says a lot.. although I won both tie-breaks convincingly, we both won totally 75 points.. he was better during sets and it was often tough for me to hold serve, but I never allowed him to take a lead in both tie-breaks.

BlackyM - Daniel 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (0)

First set i broke him immediately and I thought that this will be an easy match for me...

But I was very very wrong...I played much better than him, but I almost defeated myslef...statistics will show everything

At my first serve in second set I made four mistakes and one double fault, and he took it, and broke me...well it would be a miracle if he didn't.

That made me angry so I pressed hard, as hard as I could...at 1-3 I had 0-40, and then from next 5 points I received 3 aces, and he saved his serve, two times after that game I had deuce on his serve but I failed to break him. So he won second set.

And then uncommon thing happens.
At 1-0 for me, I had 5 BPs in one game, in the game were approx. 10 deuces, one BP he saved with a lucky shot (his mistake helped him), and other 4 times he played some good points.
Then at 5-4 I had no BPs, but again there were several deuces, at 6-5 I had another 2 BP, 7 in that set, 11 in whole match, but again he saved it.

But when tiebreak came I was in good form, and he had no chance in tiebreak 7 straight points for a uncommon, tough, but what could have been an easy win.

I served total 76 times and I lost 14 points on my serve (5 in one game), he served total 121 time and he lost 44 points on his serve
