This walk over is just not justified. i had told ivan from wednesday that i wont beable to play until monday. Why ishe getting a walk over? It is not like we areplaying a real life tournament and that he has to go to another country to play the next tourney. This is just ridiculous. Ican messaged me on msn to play when i was not at home and HE KNEW THAT I WONT REPLY BECAUSE I HAD TOLD HIM THAT I AM GOING. whats the problem in giving me somedays? And now that ive come, its been one entire day ive been back and ive been on msm for most of the day, they havent tried to message me. Cool. Message me when im not around and not when i am. Cool both of you. This walk over is not justified and i should be given a chance to play both. We all have lives outside of TE, except maybe some who play tactics like this. Kingsley you please should consult manutoo on this.
And ivan and ivo, kindly come on msn. I havent seen the two of you online since ive returned.

OK this is what happened. Apparently Nole Lucky left on Thursday. Initially I thought he didn't make any effort to play Ivan. When I played Ivan, he tells me he won't be able to play on Monday. I thought ok, Nole is not able to play for 3 days, Ivan is not able to play for 1 day so Ivan deserves the walkover. Fair enough !

But here is the other side of the story I wasn't aware of. Now Nole Lucky tells me he asked Ivan to play on Wednesday and Ivan refused. Ivan also added he would be able to play this week but not next week. Nole Lucky returns well before Monday. Infact he returned Sunday afternoon. tries to contact Ivan (posts on forum), no success. And add to that I saw Ivan online on Sunday for a minute. So now in this case, the walkover is not at all justified since Nole lucky tried to play with Ivan once on Wednesday, once on Sunday i.e. well before the deadline. And whats wrong with you Ivan, can't you man up and play instead of playing cat and mouse game of hiding or maybe you aren't man enough? You message Nole Lucky when you are well aware he has already left the town? AWESOME :D

Mods, I would request you to kindly rethink over your decision. Walkover is not justified. RL is an more appropriate decision now. But in all probabilities, we would prefer to complete the match. Why decide the semis of a tourney using a walkover or a RL? ATP matches are postponed till Tuesday-Wednesday sometimes due to rain. Heck, even Flushing Meadows FInal is played on Monday every year due to rain.

Another fun fact - Last two ties of the DC rubber are played on Sunday and Nole was back at Sunday afternoon.

And Dr Ivo, he is a good guy, I kinda expect him to turn up  (Nole lucky waits for u on msn)

Come on guys, beat us fair and square. Thats how you go to finals not via walkovers

Where is the problem?
I said I can't play on Monday. I can play tomorrow, but not in the evening.
So, don't worry, we will play.

I'm extremely sorry both of you I just fell asleep infront of the laptop, very tired from the last few days. I'll make it a point to play tomorrow. I just woke up all scared that I didn't brush my teeth before sleeping. Just tell me the time when each of you can play.

Alright, but you know by now it does not take one whole week to organise and play one match - Yes we all have lives and everything else is obviously priority, but you should not need 168 + hours to finally play a (tournament) match, this is not good enough. Btw, it does not rain in the game.
- In future I'm NOT and i clearly mean not extending any ties beyond and after Sunday, like I have previously (one week (and maybe an extra day) is more than enough to finish 5 matches.

Your last day is today, thats nearly 50 whole hours of extra time (including Monday) I've already given.

If your definition of "life" is waiting for a PC game match to finish so that you can update rankings, then yes dude, you do have a life, a very meaningful one at that.

Now this Ivan guy says hes been waiting for me for more than 4 hours.. When did I say I'll be there at that time? At 4:15 am ( when im obviously doing everything but sleeping according to him  ) my time he messages me on msn that hell be there 2:45 pm my time. Guess what? I leave for college early in the morning and return at 4:45 pm my time, that is about 12:15 pm their time. I hurried back as fast as I could.
I can't say much else.

^ Oh please, my "real" life is outside of this little place and has nothing to do with TE.
But whatever, i'm not the subject here, so i'll just come back tomorrow hoping something has progressed..

Well all i can say is that he was the better player by far and that he and his team deserved to win without any doubt...he just doesnt fit me at all, it is extremely hard for me to play against a player like this, its not only that his return is great, its just that almost every shot he makes surprises me and he disables me to play my best...but that is the thing you can expect when you play someone for the first time...im glad we managed to play this match and of course it needs to be counted cause it is a fair win by their team, it would be stupid if we got through to the final with me beating someone who is the better player by RL...so, congrats India and GL in the final! :jap:
