SingleDouble issue?

Looks like the SingleDouble isn't quite working right.

I consistently notice Yung-Jan Chang in 2nd weeks of Slams in single, and in one of my games, Mattek Sands is #4 in singles at the age of 33 having won Indian Wells, Tokyo & Rome, been in the final of Miami & Beijng, semi-final of Wimbledon and the WTA Finals, all in Singles :shock:

Both these players have SingleDouble=0.9 and if my understanding is correct, their RankPerYear should reflect the Doubles ranking rather than the Singles
Mattek Sands' is RankPerYear = 524, 533, 106, 107, 120, 46, 36, 27, 17, 17, 17, 17, 48, 110, 3, 1, 8
and BestRank=1

Hello,

in what year did that happen ?

I checked and at end of 2017, they ended #14 & #34, which is ok for me.

If it happened in 2018 (or later), it's possible the engine gave them strength boost for that year, making them very close of top singles players.

You still can put SingleDouble at 1 to completely stop them to play Singles.

If you want to tune the global SingleDouble player strength by yourself, add this line in your Tennis.ini, under [WT_Static] :
DoublesNormCoeff= 0.95

And try to lower it 0.90.
