I'm just watching the re-air of the nole vs murray match because i couldnt be bothered to wake up at 2 am again. Murray played absolutely scintillating tennis and has a game which doesn't favour Djokovic. Murray was playing like a Grandslam champ and based on Nole's ballstriking and his gameplan for beating Nadal I'll change my vote to Nole in 4 (if he recovers).

Who's the faker? And I must reiterate Murray was amazing yesterday. His forehand on the run was just ferocious. Its too bad his level dropped in the 4th but Djokovic also played so well. There's no way Nadal will beat Nole at yesterday's level. Its sad to say but I feel Djokovic and Murray have played better than Nadal and Federer in this tourney.

Lol but Nadal is also a faker so no need for accusations. There's no need to wrap his knee if its fine now and also keep saying he's 'hopefully fine' for his matches. He keeps it wrapped so if he's being destroyed or loses he can blame his knee then talk about recovering from the injury before the next tournament. Bull crap. Maybe this isnt a valid example but i cba to enumerate so many others.

Agreeing with vamos rafa. I also suppose that "shoulder injury" he had at the end of last year was fake. He's perfectly fine and into another final of a GS.. seriously..

Uh well, I think you forgot that he had more than a month to recover from the injury and he was playing badly at the end of the season losing a 6-0 set to Nishikori, facing a match point against Berdych and losing 6-3 6-1 to ferrer. Now there's nothing wrong with him. As for Nadal its either he's saving an excuse for a loss or its his superstitious ways that are forcing him to wear the knee strap.

I do agree there is nothing wrong with him but there is no point showing you are crippled and half dead in set 2 and 3 and that you can sprint like usain bolt in set 5. Or maybe he found energy by eating a magic GOAT pill under his towel :) ?

Well there are thousands of fans so he knew ppl would see him. And probably he got more energy just by conserving energy or drinking energy drinks or that substance which could also be an inhaler (he's astmatic). And as Maxy said he's still number one and if he breaks early in the final its over for Nadal possibly in straights. I can imagine Nadal celebrating Murray's 2 break points at 5-5 15-40 in the fifth set and then ending the match despondent as invincible Djokovic stormed back to win the match 7-5 in the fifth.

Djokovic won in 5 sets. Probably the best final I've seen in a long time but erratic play cost Novak the first set and sheer determination extended the match to 5 sets. Nadal can draw positives from his loss but OMG nole is a monster!!

EPIC, it was weird to see Nole move like it was the beginning of the match at 5-5 in the 5th, and all of that after he seemed to barely walk in few previous games  :applause:
