What a load of bullcrap Apart from Rotterdam, he didn't play any extra ATP 500 out of his usual schedule. On the contrary he missed 2 ATP 1000 masters i.e. Shanghai (which he played in 2010) and Monte Carlo (which he played in 2011)

yea too bad he was faking an injury that he took a MTO probably for the first time in his career, that too in the first set against Malisse . Tell us more please about Federer faking injuries
