3rd and 4th are placed on the middle of the draw, each one in a different side of it (that's randomly decided) so they can only meet on the final, and, for example if 3rd seeded is on the side of the draw of the 1st seeded, they would meet on the semi finals as well as 2nd and 4th. From that point I don't really know but I think 5 to 8th seeded can't meet before quarterfinals, on a 32 players draw. all the rest is random.

Posted: 13 Jan 2010, 01:04basically theyre decided with random number sequences based on rank, the exception being 1st and 2nd seed who are always top and bottom.
