Since the year is coming to an end and a new one is beginning I thought I'd make a poll to see which match was the best match of 2009. So what do you think was the best match of 2009? If you have a match that isn't on the list please state that match and state why you think it deserves to be on the list!!!!!

Nadal-Djokovic in Madrid. Both men put so much into it that it took them months to recover. Nadal still hasn't recovered. It was a titanic struggle with enough drama to last the whole year.

They have already voted for that, the player of the year is Federer, and the other one is Juan Martin Del Potro, the best match of the year is Roddick - Federer in Wimbledon, I agree with them so I voted Roddick - Federer

Just because the ATP says one match is better than the others doesn't mean it is.

I voted for Verdasco-Nadal. Can you imagine better rallies...
(fed-rod: Ace, ace, winner after serve, ace it was 1 game) so...not a so good match oonly the score is good...

me too.last set was a cracker
ofcourse fernando verdasco-nadal epic still hang around in my thoughts,it was superb.but i think the match Rod-FED is more than it,it was all about championship.so pressure is much higher than any of other matches,especially last set made an epic.we can never forget both faces of FED-ROD so tensed in last set
Nadal Djokovic is another best match,but its still semis and FED_ROD is WIMBY FINAL

Nadal-Djokovic in Madrid, that was awesome! Also Nadal-Djoko in Montecarlo and Delpo-Fed is US Open.

I voted by Federer-Nadal in the final of the AO

ofcourse u may be right in ur sense cool it's similar for me for wimby 08 where nadal got win at the end

the wimbledon final was of poor quality, federer was nowhere near his best, however roddick was probably playing the tennis of his life
