Posted: 04 Oct 2009, 04:56Most ALL of these girls (the exception being Serena) get nervous and in MOST cases double-fault... A LOT... 
My choice for 2nd best 1st serve is Petrova...
Sam Stosur's 2nd serve (kick) may even rival or best Serena's...
Since the US Open Shriekapova has gone back to her original serve motion and seems to be doing better...
It is the opinion of none other than Navratilova and numerous other Hall of Famers (both men & women) that even though Venus* has the biggest 1st serve (but not very high percentage) Serena has the best and most consistent womens' serve of ALL time...I agree.

Why Sharapova may be to vote, Safina, Dementieva they it this year much more double faults, than Mauresmo!
