Who has the best forehand?

Postby Richou » 22 Aug 2009, 12:51

Haha well to complete the set until someone makes double handed bh, i decided to make this cuz i was bored :D
well i just put up the 5 that sprung to mind into the actual poll, but i know others like Verdasco, Soderling and Berdych have great forehands, but these are the people that stood out to me at least.

I was hesiting with Monfils, Gonzalez and Verdasco.
Monfils only put power like Gonzalez.
And Verdasco has precision, the ball goes long and with enough power (not sure)
So for me it's Fernando Verdasco.

Gonzalez. That thing scares me. But in the high point of James Blake's career, his was just as lethal.

Roger Federer has the best Forehand. You don't get where he's gotten without one. He can do a lot with it and it's much more consistent than Gonzalez's.

when gonzos on, his forehand is the best nobody can deal with the pace and depth that come off that thing.

Roger Federer has the best.i see many other players dont play really good with forehand in big tense matches.they do lots of errors.ofcourse even federer do errors, but compared to all of them ,federer delivers the best shots and more winners and thats why del potro, nadal and almost everyone always target his backhand which is 1handed and it may not be as precise as double handed  so i think the best forehand shud be voted based on forehand which plays great under pressure ':D
