Leena,i have to say that im becoming pissed off by your post every now and then.
The forum is for free opinion expressions,i know, but you get bitchy very often and talk about tennis players in rude maner and whether i like the player or not i find your statements often to be too over the top.

Sorry. But, I truly do hate the current state of women's tennis. The quality is atrocious since every player wants to be a power baseliner, 90% of the tour is mentally fragile, and most importantly... when I see most players now like Serena with the "I have a life outside of tennis!" mindset and thinking it's cool to not put full effort into your matches. What other sport is like that?! It's like the WTA is content with getting most of their attention because of drama and T&A, instead of quality.

It's depressing watching the Big 4 on the ATP now, and such crap on the women's side.
Hrmph.

Leena,
i have to say that as a former tennis player myself i was kinda offended by you talking about the players like that, cause i was disrespected the same way, only that i couldnt make it as a pro.Sorry if i was a little harsh, but im getting sensitive about that matter as before i was trying my b?st on the court and people were talking shit about me.As funny as it sounds, even now, when im 21,i get hurt by these things,as your comments flashed back at me as memories.
My post was not against you,i believe you know that,we even don't know each other, but against curtain way of thinking. :D

Your right about the condition of the women's tennis right now. They are way too 'spoiled' and concentrate thier attention on too many things outside the tennis...like promoting themsleves...c'mon..your not supposed to be models or anything...i know the 'star' kinda life is great (on the outside) but all we expect you to do is hit the ball...and please do so.Its much more entertaining (remember back in the past when the only fun thing about tennis was the flipped up by the wind skirt when Hingis was playing). Now its much more about projecting an image and having tennis kinda help you about that.

Yes,most of them are only punchers,i've said that before...i much loved tennis before and thank God i am a little older than most of you so that i had the chance to see matches like Graf vs. Hingis Roland Garros '99.
I got distracted, sorry.I wanted to agree with Leena's opinion and that with the thing going on in the Man's Tour it even seems more hilarious.
Example:Today 7.5. was the QF at Rome Azarenka vs. Kanepi:
The first 8 games of the match only breaks ! Then at 4-4 Kanepi took her serve and it all ended in a tiebreak Vika lost 4 consecutive points after winning the set and eventualy the match. No more stats from me but if u have seen the match, you would know what im talking about.Disaster.Everybody has a bad day,but hey, those two are Top 20 and Top 10...like it matters.

So that this post isnt going to be a total offtopic i would write what i think about RG:

The winner isnt going to be expected.Surely its going to be a top 10 player but as there are no clear favourites its all going to be an open draw.
Amelie Mauresmo: always love to see her at RG.Too nerveous to reach more than 3 round.
Dinara Safina: still too uptide in my opinion, she has everything she needs to win a slam, but she has to get over her and that 'i gotta do this like my life depends on it'' feeling i get from her
Ana Ivanovic: this RG is going to be a major dissapointment for her.I'd run out the streets naked if she makes it to the QF.
Williamses: I dont see them going any further than the QF.And im talking only about one of them.
Jelena Jankovic: If she is concistent and has a good draw, she can make it to the final.
Svetlana Kuznetsova: She playes remarkable these last few days.Hope she stays fit for the Slam.If she playes there like she played Sttutgart/Rome she could be easily walking off with a trophy.
Elena Dementieva: Is that girl afraid to make the big hit?I dont know. Its more like this year or never for her.She playes the tennis of her life right now and really is capable of 'doing' it finaly.

Players to watch out for: Medina Garrigues,Benesova,Errani,Lisicki,Martinez Sanchez,Groenefeld,Kvitova.
I wonder if Dokic plays...i loved this girl.

All and all this Slam is going to present us all hell of a tennis and i even presume 2-3 QF players outside Top 20.
