You know very well there's not limits on posting! You just want a Congrats for your 3,000 post! I will give you my congratulations now for your 2,999 and your next post which will be '3,000' You've always had a fascination with post numbers! This old girl on ebay used to be obsessed with post tally's and Kudos! She was so proud that she'd posted over 100,000 times with helping people ( in other words helping ebay numpties)! She woke up one day and found out that the forum part of the site which she'd helped with answering over a 100,000 posts had changed hands to a different company Sadly half of her posts/points had been removed The END!

Not a joke or an attention post, some PHP forums have limits for ''normal users'' maybe that number is increased when you become ''Verified Modder''.

Yeah me too I have similar kind of problem ; when I buy condoms, I always have to ask if they'll fit on a 40-cm penis.

I never heard of such kind of limit, and if there's one, it's probably around 2 billion posts, so you can spam a bit more...

I'm not sure, but either you didn't read what this search results give, or we don't get the same results, but anyway they're about admin enforced limit, not about technical limit. So who could imagine me enforcing some kind of limit, and why I'd be doing that..?

Most of PHPbb's forum have this blocking tool included (depending which version you're using); this tools are used to avoid spam.
I thought you already made a limit, like 5.000 or something, it was just curiosity; but forget it, questions in the forum can't be done without getting an insult (now-days).

if you think a bit more about it, I'm sure you'll figure out that a 5000-post limit wouldn't bring anything against the spammers. The forum's anti-spam system stops 90% of the spammers on their 1st post, and for the 10 last %, I need only 1 or 2 messages to know if they're spammer or not & ban them manually.
At the very least, the only limit that could make sense is something like 50 posts/day.
So I hope you'll authorize us to think you were trying to bring attention to your post count, even if actually you weren't and were just asking a real question in your mind.
