Viva la revolución ! (or not)

Postby manutoo » 22 May 2014, 15:21

Hello,

for the ones who don't know, I'm living in Thailand, and there was a coup earlier today : the military took control of everything.
They cut the national TV channels earlier, and they just cut my satellite TV (we got some nice Thai songs on all channels now :fear: ), and there are rumors about they will cut Internet soon. I don't think it's going to be the case, but if they do, then I won't be online till they put it back on, of course...

So meanwhile, don't be too nasty on the Forum... ;)

military revolution never is good...I bet they cut the internet, this kind of military behaviour always try to shut down all comunications via.
I hope everything ends soon.
As Nigo said, keep yourself safe.
Hugs.

So far, so good, Internet is still there..!
In Thailand, military often does coups ; the last one in 2006 was done firing 0 shot, so without injuring nor killing anyone... So I hope they'll do same this time... On the opposite, political extremists injury & kill each other quite regularly since a few months... :fear:

EDIT:
so it's business as usually for me, and v1.0d might come tonight or tomorrow morning !

Nigogu,
the military junta took control of the country, cleaning a bit the trash (ie: some crooked politicians got problems ;) ), and will organize new elections in 1 year. No unrest, no one killed. It seems like a repetition of 2006-2007 so far...
