That's a shame that he won't be back until next year as his ranking hasn't suffered that badly as it stands for now. Does he have many points to defend from now until the end of this season?

Edit:
Congrats to France for getting to the Davis Cup final. I am sure that our TE's game creator will be very happy about this! ':D And also Congrats to Switzerland.

Man I feel sorry for him. He is in his prime age to win slams....and it can't get any worse. Recovering and playing his best will take at least 3 months(until and unless he believes in his abilities after recovery) :?

yes Einstein, the sad part is the after-recovering, if he trust himself to be in the main spot again, or just sailing among the #100 or less... but 'La Torre de Tandil' is a true fighter, I know he can be at least Top 5 again 8-)

I didn't realise that he could drop so low as that in the rankings by missing the rest of the year!

Andy lost to the Joker again today in the SF's of the China Open and in straight sets.. i can't see him making the ATP Finals at the O2 now. I am not sure about his choice of coach either? But hey ho! You never know, it might work out for them both next year.

Sad to see Murray out of the TOP8... but as you said, time flies and we'll be back soon in Australia, that have always been a great place for Andy (& Amelie).
