Maybe there is not going to be a ''new season'', the team was almost in Bankruptcy just before the season, that's why the president assumed as coach, but now, they didn't qualified for playoffs, maybe the team is going to a new city, with a new name

Wimbledon F.C, suffered the same fate as your club. They were relocated to the Milton Keynes area from London and became the Milton Keynes Dons!
They do that type of thing which has happened to your Club, in the US NFL as well. It's those bloody rich owners fault :annoyed:

Millionaries wanting more millions, and don't wasting their time in their teams  :?
It has also happened with a couple of NBA teams, i know Wimbledon FC because the story of the 1987-88 FA Cup win was narrated in a ESPN's 30x30 episode.
Sad to see that the team dissolved, having the name of.... a...... cricket tournament :?: (Is Wimbledon a cricket or a padel tournament, i don't remember  :?: )

Wimbledon F.C was always just a football club. Wimbledon the tennis tournament used to be known as the All England Lawn and 'Croquet' Club. If that's what you mean?
