Many players on tour today grunt...some a little more than others. Do you feel that grunting is un-necessary or a trick? If so or if not please say why...

For me, I grunt when I play...sometimes. It's not like Sharapova or the Williams sisters or David Ferrer or Gonzo...but it helps me to focus my breathing when the "Ancic puff-breath" technique doesn't work lol.

Do you mean that if motivate oneself is possitive or am I wrong?

I think motivimating oneself helps a lot. Especially when you shout between one point you lost and the next. I don't know why Federer doesn't do that, he looks like full of quarrel during his matches against Nadal.

I mean grunting during rallies...if whether or not grunting while you hit your forehand or backhand helps you relax and/or focus...

I definitely think Federer needs to loosen up...a lot of times Fed would get impatient while Rafa would hit safe shots from side to side...

Ah, so I don't think it helps you. It's un-necessary and maybe it helps to make your opponent mad, but that's not fair play.
