No. He's not.
He was playing in very weak era with unstable Safin, mental-case Coria/Nalbandian, dopers like Canas/Puerta, old Agassi, very injured Hewitt who lost his confidence, Davydenko who was more intrested into betting.

According to the results Nadal is.
But both Djokovic and Murray are enjoyable to watch. Among top10 my fav player is Tsonga, then Murray, then Djokovic, then Nadal, then Berdych, then Gasquet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for Nadal to beat that 17 Slams

Very Weak Era :?: He was the first of the new good era, the Nadal's, Djokovic's, Murray's, Soderling's, Delpotro's. And he also played vs Roddick, all his career long, until Roddick got tired & injured. Also, just 3 years later of when he became pro, Nadal became pro, and he became a GS winner even before than Federer (in age). (I still consider Nadal can beat Federer in All-Time history). Rivals is what he have got in all his career, he had to play Vs The best clay player ever (yes, better than Borg). Is simple as that. His numbers are the best in almost all categories & his career haven't finished. Sincerly, there is no point of comparation of players like, Rod Laver, cause they played on GS with 16 players at that time....
Also, at the time of: Connors, Mcenroe, Borg, Lendl, Becker, Edberg, Vilas, etc, etc, etc.... the ATP wasn't on every tournament, and nothing can be comproved, for example, few months ago, they changed the number of titles of Vilas, because they discovered he didn't won 1, and they approved he won other 2.....
Also, Sampras is one of the best, and his Numbers have being already beaten by Federer.
For example, if a player like Berdych have played some years ago, he would be one of the best of all time, but he faced all this new stars, and he has to be happy with the TOP7.
It's hard to know, i think it's really hard to compare players, the only way i found, it's watching the numbers....
Some numbers......

Yeah, i hope he can do that, but i don't know if he can win 4 more times the RG, his age will be a problem, and also Nole, he almost beat him last time on RG (9-7 on the 5th).
I think he can win this year 2-3 Grand Slams, but i don't know in 2015 or in 2016...

FEDERER2 wrote:Look even if nadal beats federer's grand slam record he will not beat federer's weeks at #1.

Look, i'm a ''Fan'' of Federer, i also like Nadal, Murray, Berdych, Tsonga, Monfils, Haas, etc, etc, etc....
I think Nadal can still reach 302 weeks, hard, but not impossible, he's still 27, he has +110 weeks, he has to do like 185 more weeks to reach Federer's record, that's 3 years & a half.
Being N1 at 30yo, it's not really impossible. He can do it, the only problem will be Nole, he haven't lost a match since he got engaged with Jelena Ristic.
Nadal will be N1 at least until Roland Garros, and he can keep it all year long, if he can do a good presentation in the Australian Open.
But that it's the future, Federer in this moment it's the best player ever in my opinion, Nadal can beat him, but he has to do amazing numbers in the next 3 years (& not get injured again).
Thats it.
