Why was there a need to slow down the speed anyways? Maybe you wanted to fix that running ROS, but honestly I can see no difference in ROS. Players doing such ROS are still doing it quite successfully without getting aced even on grass against servers with 100 power.

vamos rafa,
thx for the .dmo , looks like I should actually increase the new effect... ;)

Everybody,
ok, I did some tests, and I think I found the root cause of your complains ; currently, there's a forward inertia after each strike & serve, and it was not too noticeable before because it wasn't too much above the speed conversion limit, but now it's way beyond it, thus the feel of greater inertia after your strikes ; so for the next Build, I'm going to drastically reduce it, so you'll have a better control of your player after your strikes & serves (which should help lower the number of return winners) ; I won't reduce it on accelerations, though, coz the balance is ok for them (ie: it's easy enough to hit winners, so it's ok to be a bit get penalized if you use an acceleration that doesn't give you an advantage in the rally).

Restarting the game doesn't help. And I still haven't been able to fix my previous problem (outfits not showing, person is white). This build really hates me.. ! :applause:

Oh, who mentioned inertia first again?  Always the same story...And, nah, I think inertia is mostly present when changing direction, not after hitting shots (although those 2 events can often happen at the same time so who knows), at least that's what it feels like when playing ;) And, I hope you realise 90% of shots are accelerations...

@vamos rafa: what are you posting, piggy? :)

Edit: Isn't this forward inertia causing the partners in doubles to get closer and closer to the net when being spammed? Why are they doing that still? Eventually they make an error after being spammed as they get too close to the net

Could you please tell us when this next new build will come out?

ASAP please...thus, not in the middle of WB

As Stajus said, inertia's not only huge after hitting, but when you try to change directions too.
Also, about what Stajus said, it's not real that we're able to hit 90% of accelerations (can't say that's exaggerated)
I'll repeat myself, lower inertia as much as you can (i.e not so low that it's unreal/unbalanced) and make us run slower.

Maybe your serve sucks, "Mental Midget"

@Algo :thumbleft:

@Manutoo: If you want to ruin any movement when returning, I'm afraid you'll have to dismantle the crosscourt camping game that people utilise, especially Florian...He sticks to crosscourt like glue, it's almost impossible and very very very rare to hit a deep crosscourt winner against him, and when there's a bit shorter ball back to him in a crosscourt exchange he can hit a DTL winner easily, especially with this turtle movement/100 kg fat pig inertia that is currently active. Meaning we have to spam DTLs much more vs such players to avoid crosscourt exchanges...make these people move from the corner, thank you ;)

I don't worship mentally challenged folks, sorry buddy  Fact is you camp crosscourt more than anyone else, so let's see that removed and play some tennis ;)

I think it's a good idea (except it needs at least the serve preview, & maybe the rally preview), but I'm not the one who decide this. You can try to convince the Tour Mods & the top players to make the change, though...

Mohamed,
the .dmo got corrupted, I can't replay it... :fear:

J.Crété,
yup, there's a little issue with it ; for now, put more topspin in it and it should get longer.

Serena Williams Fan,
did it happen in the past ? Or only since v1.0e ? Or only since last Build ?

EDIT:
SPC,
if you want longer rallies, slowing the grass will make that happen.

Apparently you can't evaluate the fact that defending cross court attacks (esp on grass) this way involves the risk that I might get nailed by a DTL winner everytime...
