Its good to update the game and keep improving it however... you keep changing the main parts of the game ie gameplay. My movement is awful now and I get wrong footed practically all the time.

Theres only so much adapting you can do... and its going to get annoying if you keep changing things like this. You should make a final update for the main logistics of the game, you can add other things to it like the new strokes and other stuff in later updates but keep the gameplay set to one thing, its like playing a whole new game.

I also noticed with some of the new strokes... its so hard to know when to press the button since the player brings back the racket so much earlier and the movement is so weird, like it jutters... I like the new strokes however Im finding i cant play with them... so gonna have to stick to the standard ones.

Stats :
- in May 76% of online games have been desync free
- so far in June, 92.5% of game have been desync free ; 94% on the last 1100 games ; and hoping for 98% soon, once people will have gotten rid of their old Mods ;)

Raz,
Ok, I found the bug ; actually the wingspan is never updated when switching a strike animation on the fly ; so if you 2H-BH already started and you do a slice, then you'll get the wingspan of the 2H-BH ; it'll be fixed in next Build

Algo,
yes, it should possible using the "Enter Outfit Code" button, with only the "a" code followed by all styles you want. Check the Modding Anim info topic here : topic29-7453.php .
You could also edit directly the Tennis.ini .

The Potro,
1- no mod installed ? Same for your opponent ?
Did you notice anything strange with your Energy bars ? Or anything special happened before the desyncs ?

2- Speed didn't change in B86 ; if you play an Online private game (or through hamachi) you may get the new slower left/right movement though instead of the old one ; but when playing public games, it should still be the old one

Ap500S,
I'm forcing the Delay to be at least half the highest ping + 17 milliseconds, as many people don't know what the Delay is for, badly set it, and afterward complain about lag.

HeatherWatson,
yup, that would be better to do all gameplay changes at once, but unfortunately, it's not possible as it requires a lot of testing & observations to see how each change falls in place in the game. But I think it should have not much big change anymore : the left/right tuning was the last one of them ; now, it should have only little changes like the short slice length we got in B85.

i have no mods, only some nike clothes installed and the sound pack of bunburrry. cannot get any topspin what so ever. or maybe you have done so its easier for opponent to take on high balls? this is also on clay, imagine other surfaces...
manutoo wrote:Did you notice anything strange with your Energy bars ? Or anything special happened before the desyncs ?

no i dont think so.
manutoo wrote:2- Speed didn't change in B86 ; if you play an Online private game (or through hamachi) you may get the new slower left/right movement though instead of the old one ; but when playing public games, it should still be the old one

what? why have you done like that? two different speeds in same game? slower speed was much much much more fun and realistic. plz fix it to public game, at least to realistic game...

EDIT: i just played a match, i noticed that desyncs come when energy bars are empty.
and i played a match online, then did rematch, suddly my player was VERY VERY slow. he almost couldnt change direction? it isnt possible to play rematch for me. they get slow second match

Manutoo, (relating to offline WT) this point i played before 3-3, i hit a drop volley at the net, then lobbed the shot back over the CPU's head. The crowd started clapping and all that.. and the point hadn't ended yet because the CPU reached the ball..

I attached a .dmo below.

Manutoo, I played the match a newest version. The gameplay is very good. No bug, no issue, no errors the gameplay. In this version, I feel that the game is very-very real. The CPU does not hit as many errors, the gameplay is much faster than real at all. Very close to reality. Keep it up.

YEAH, it makes me really angry the crowd starts clapping, finishes his shouts and I'm still running to get the ball and I sometimes get it after all that
And manu, please don't change the speed after RG, I just played some points with computer and I couldn't run :s the update is really great but hopefully you won't make the speed like on offline..

It's not a quick gameplay. The gameplay is much faster than real at all. Very close to reality. You can be too strong a CPU level. What difficulty do you play?

New poster here,

In regards to this patch, I like the change in the movement. It seems to have made heavy topspin somewhat more viable for Puncher/PB builds on WT (don't know about online, haven't played on it yet). The one thing I am less happy about is the change in the stamina usage in this build. Stamina drops way too quickly now, particularly the overall energy bar. In WT, you can grind down the CPU much easier than before since they bash the ball for 2 sets and then get knackered due to low overall energy. I don't know whether this is as a result of the change you made to the B1 serve or if its a bug, but I preferred the stamina usage in 1.0d.

Incredible 10, I usually lose to him 4-6, but with the current offline gameplay I can't even get some pts.. :jap: and the gameplay isn't faster, watch top 5 players' movements..

Manu, is it possible that you could add few more hairstyles? I dont think ive seen any hairstyle update since i started playing this game :) . WOuld be great if you could add Federer's medium-long curly hair, or perhaps Djokovic's very short hairstyle. Do that pleaseee

Does this update require Sam's patch to be re-installed? Does it affect your saved WT?

if not, could you make that happen?

quoting myself, it's possible messing around with pak01, but it'd be better if it was an in-game option.
What was nice is that it didn't desynch online.

That will actually be made official after RG, so i dont see how much solving this will help :s..

Playing offline is really a nightmare, one good short crosscourt accel and its impossible to defend the other side of the court.. Really its way too slow with this last update. I only imagine the nightmare that will be online
