I play a right-handed WTA player and I simply cannot dropshot to the deuce court, only the ad court. even if i press left and up for the entire time a loopy ball takes to come to me, it just lands on the centre line. Am I doing something wrong? Does it have something to do with my skill level of dropshots? Or is it something else?

it's an issue with your keyboard. Try to use the numpad keys 4, 5, 6 & 8 instead of the arrow keys, or even better, play with a gamepad.
