Hi Manu, well, I'm quite surprised you didn't notice inferior rushing in a kinda stupid way...once you're at the net and your partner is returning...he keeps trying to move back and forth on his side until he finally decides to rush (even when hitting down the line)...and when he does that a volley back to his corner is always a winner...Pretty annoying, especially as he even tries rushing like this when hitting DTL and then it's so easy to hit a winner past him as he's trying to reach the net...since in the midcourt area he can't volley or make jumps like at the net (and he finds himself in the midcourt area at the moment when the opponent is volleying again)...
In the previous version, rushing wasn't 100% intelligent either, but it seemed less likely to give the opponent an easy winner. Perhaps rushing needs to be a bit tuned overall to be honest
Perhaps there's a way to make them stay back at the baseline when it's risky to approach, but I don't know - they seem to approach independent of the court positioning and the situation, and where they hit the ball before approaching...
I might post a .dmo when I get the time to play a set, can't right now
Or perhaps I'll record the DC SF doubles match vs France and post that
