Difference between 'counter' and 'puncher'

Postby j_21791 » 14 Aug 2011, 13:49

Hi,

Couldn't find anything in the documentation so I thought I'd post here. In the choice of playing style, what exactly is the difference between 'counter' and 'puncher'?

Hello,

It's detailed here => https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Ten ... html#style .
Basically, the Puncher is at midrange between the Power Baseliner & the Varied styles.
Counter is the only special style of the game, as it changes a lot the gameplay : your acceleration speed is based in part on the speed of the incoming ball.

Yeah I guess with counter style, players usually step into the incoming ball and take it on the rise. So yeh in dealing with em,just vary your groundies against them
