I recently finished my fourth year on tour and it has been absolutely bizarre. At the start of the year, my overall skill level (if viewed from "player statistics" on paused game screen) was 1165. Throughout the year, it kept on dropping and dropping, finally reaching 1059! My service skill is now in the 50%s, my baseline is in the high 60s, and my volleys are in high 60s% and steadily dropping. My lob and drop shots are at 23%!
I have played a tournament every other week and either won it (i have 9 titles for the year) or reached at least finals/sem-finals. Yet, even the tournaments that I have won have typically not been able to replace the points i lost by taking the next week off. For example, my skill set dropped from 1195 to 1084 AFTER I won Shanghai Masters and took a week off.
I now would really like to swith from Pro to Master level, but i have not been able to do so. Higher ranked players have much higher skill levels than me (1200+ if fewed from player statistics" on paused game screen) and I have not been able to hang with them on Master given my own low skill levels (for example, I just cannot compete with baseline strokes of 95% power when my own power is 62%).
What can i do? I hate to ask for this, but is there a cheat to increase you skill levels if there is no other way? As it is right now, I am stuck - Pro level is not challenging enough for me even with my low skill levels and I cannot do well on the Master level given how outclassed I am by high-ranked players with higher skills levels.
Thanks
