Hi guys, just bought the game and I am looking for a manual or some help with what buttons do what when playing with an X-Box controller. I am able to play atm but it is a case of just pressing buttons and not really knowing what sort of shot I am playing. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah it takes a while to get a hold of the buttons. I think it would of been better if the buttons were named Flat-Shot, Topspin, Backspin instead of Fire 1, Fire 2, Fire 1+2. Woulda been easier to remember what button does what.

Mariners,
look here the list of strikes : https://www.managames.com/tennis/doc/Ten ... ml#strikes .
It's also available from the "In-Game -> Help -> List of Strikes" menu.
But it's hard to select up/down while aiming left/right with the Xbox 360 pad ; so you might need to redefine your strikes ; to do so, turn on the "Advanced Options" in the "Misc Options" menu, then go to the "Controls" menu and select "Remap Strikes".

Agassi74,
buttons can't be named, coz by default, for each button, you can do 3 different strikes, depending if you press up/down/nothing .

Thanks for your advice, much appreciated.

Edit: BTW, am I right in saying that on the X-B0x pad the B1+B2 is replaced with just the blue button?

Mariners,
it's same with all controllers ; for B1+B2, you can either press the button assigned to B1+B2 (like by default the blue button on your Xbox controller), and press simultaneously the button assigned to B1 + the one assigned to B2.
That allows to play with 2 or 3 buttons, like you prefer.
