The purpose of this video is to show how to beat a Defender on Clay. They are the hardest challenge in the game.
As seen in the video, you have to do a good mix of top spin strike, short strike, and acceleration, without forgetting a few net rushes.
The main difficulty is that the rallies are way longer than on other surfaces, and you have to manage to get less tired than your opponent by making him run a lot, and using your accelerations only when you really need them.
The 2nd biggest difficulty is that you have to stand father from the baseline, but also have to get closer any time you can, else you'll never overwhelm nor outlast your opponent..! (except if you're very very patient
)I lost 2 sets before to win this one. I was quite nervous at 1st, and my aiming was very poor, so I kinda got destroyed...
