0/6-0/6 => CPU is too strong ?

Postby lcgrs » 16 Apr 2011, 11:52

Hi!

At the moment, I am playing week 36 after creating my player aganst a opposite player with no skills at all (only Top Spin 65%, all other skills 0-5%). My skills are going from 19% (Lob) to 71% (Forehand presision), so I could expect an easy game to win...

After 36 weeks playing I still end matches with 0/6-0/6 scores... The only change I have seen is that matches last longer: after playing a lot of matches in 12 minutes, it now takes 20 minutes to reach ... 0/6-0/6 or when I am very lucky 1/6-0/6... :(

It is very disapointing to see that, on important moments of the game you are always losing points: the ball is out, in the net, you misses the service from the computer player and the opposite player *never* misses a ball.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

1st, you can lower the difficulty (in your opponent Character Sheet shown just before the match). At least, check the current difficulty in on Club or Junior. If it's on Incredible, that'd explain why the CPU is so strong even with low skills.

2nd, you can turn on the Danger Zone helper, so you'll know better where you have to stand to avoid sending the ball in the net or fault.

3rd, read here : topic1-883.php . These are tips for TE2006 but most of them apply for TE2011 in a close or similar way.

If you need more general tips or some about specific situations, feel free to post again..!

The settings are Level Pro, sublevel 7.

I will tryout the other hints.

I play with incredible and it seems pretty easy to handle actually. XD
(Hint: just keep hitting down the line until you get a winner - it works for me :P)

Sure Kings. Should I recommend an opponent for you? I want the .dmo of you beating it :mrgreen: Put all 100s apart from spin (0-50%) and serve (70 100 100), any playing style, and Incredible 10 ;)

Anyways, on Topic, I could master World Tour on Incredible Sub Level 5 but it wasn't too easy, then I tried on Incredible Sub Level 10 and it became kinda too hard to win at first so I gave up...with those small stats :mrgreen: Anyways, that was a long time ago, I'm sticking with online games now ;)
