Game shaking

Postby NOLE.LUCKY » 18 Mar 2011, 16:23

Hi manutoo
Since maybe the last update, a player has not been able to play with me with perfect conditions, by conditions I mean negligible lag and horrendous shaking for that player. As he says, his screen is shaking a lot, but I don't see that much shaking. Moreover, he says the problem is only when he plays with me . Earlier, we used to have perfect conditions, in terms of lag everything. Everything was fine. But now, he is not able to position his player properly due to some huge shaking, as he says. Please suggest something. :?

Hello,

what are the AutoDelay, Delay, in-game Ping & Lag Ratio ?

if you played with the AutoDelay, try to set the Delay manually 1 step above the AutoDelay.

The delay was 117, ping = 40-45, LR = 0, auto-delay = 33

Humm, no idea then... Try to make a video of that shaking, if possible...

If you have a CPU that can lower its speed to save energy, try to set the default speed before to launch the game...

yes manutoo i m experiencing a lot of shakes in the game even when its gud ping (40-70 ms) gud delay 0 lag ratio....its more like screen flickering with random pauses ...nits not lag.......i experienced it with the person above but now its with all....could it be due to my graphics card ? but i didnt experience this problem earlier ? any suggestions  can it be because my pc isn turned off for 2-3 days or is left on for long intervals?
Edit - I checked recommended system requirements (not minimum) CPU: 2 Ghz or faster Intel Pentium 4 or AMD XP processor
RAM: 512 MB or more
Video: 128-MB 3D card

i have 2.66 Ghz intel P4 and 256 mb video card ATI Radeon 200 xpress (not great but ok for this game i guess considering the recommended requirements), ram 1 gb.i guess what could be the problem

Edit again - seems fine now...looked like a temporary problem which solved on restart of my pc...looks like it neeeds some rest :fear:
