Hello,

Tennis Elbow 2011 v1.0a is released (Build 64-2011.1.13) :
https://www.managames.com/download.php?TE2011_fe10a.exe ~35MB [Permanent direct download link to the latest version]
http://toogame.free.fr/Files/TennisElbow2011.exe [Mirror site for people having corrupted download from managames.com - but not up to date all the time]

Patch for v1.0a All Builds since 65 => 1.0a Build 68 - SubBuild 2011.3.3 :
https://www.managames.com/download.php?TE2011-Patch.exe ~1.3MB

New Features :
- Strike : Backhand Smash (1)
- New Strike Style : one 2-Handed Backhand (you're welcome to guess from what real player it's inspired of in this topic : viewtopic.php?p=53834#p53834 )
- World Tour : can start a new game with up to 4 human players (2)
- World Tour : can see the number of Wins/Losses for previous years
- Controls : can remap all strike combinations (when "Advanced Options" are on) ; this is especially useful for too sensitive gamepads that don't allow to clearly push middle/up/down (like the Xbox 360 controller) (3)
- Window : maximized state is saved on exit & restored on launch

Changes :
- AI : CPU players lob more often when decentered
- AI : CPU players now react a bit more slowly to drop shots
- Gameplay : accelerations on sliced balls have a bit less precision
- Gameplay : in match, you can now strike the ball when it's out and your player started his strike (except on 1st serve return)
- Gameplay : off center balls on the normal & topspin strikes are slower than before
- Animation : Services 1 & 5 significantly tuned so the ball toss is higher ; Service 2 is very slightly tuned as well
- Animation : Crowd applause tuned
- World Tour : Rankings updated to end of 2010
- World Tour : Team Cup players are now selected by their current strength instead of their current ranking
- World Tour : the Score Simulation produces about 30% less tie-breaks, especially in last rounds of important tournaments
- Online : ELO Penalty for quitting is lowered by about 30%
- Online : AutoLag tuned a bit

Bug Fixes:
- Gameplay : player doesn't move forward / backward several times when hitting a very high ball from the baseline while AutoPos is on Fast
- Gameplay : right-handed players should now turn around to the left or the right correctly, when lobbed
- Controls : fixed a crash that could occurs when plugged in a gamepad/joystick with less than 6 buttons

Notes :
- Changelog of previous versions is here : topic15-3342.php
- as usually, if you notice any glitch or bug, thanks to report them !
- don't forget to exit TE2009/TE2011 before to install the latest version
- (1) : hitting an acceleration on the BH Smash gives a bit less fast ball than an acceleration on the FH Smash
- (2) : I didn't test it too much, so if you meet any bug, please report them & send me your saved games
- (3) : if you used to use X & Z keys to do the slice & top spin strikes, you should now remap these 2 strikes to the new Fire 4 & 5 ; you have to turn on the "Advanced Options" from the "Misc Options" menu to see the "Remap Strikes" button in the "Control" menu

Important Note :
Post in this topic only if it's related to the latest new version, ie only for these 2 cases :
- about a point listed in the New Features / Changes / Bug Fixes
- about a bug that you are sure didn't happen in the previous version but happens in the new one (else, post in the "Bug Report" forum)
Do not write about anything else, else I may delete your post without any prior warning (or at very least, I won't answer it) ; if you're not sure your topic is related or not to the latest version, just create a new topic in the forum, it'll be fine...

Also on a side note, don't send me PM ( = Private Message) except for Private thing. Everything that can be read by everybody should be pointed out / asked in the forum, so my comments & answers could also be read by everybody, and hopefully, I won't have to write them again when someone else will have the same comments / questions...

I mean over the 2010 off season he fixed his service arm so that during his trophy pose his right arm isnt straight as it was, it has a 90 degree bend. Its one of the main things that attributed to his Australian Open win...

Yeah, he's smoothed out his motion quite a bit...
I haven't yet run across any new slow-motion videos of his new motion, but if I do I'll send them...
