Ciao everyone. First of all, congratulations to the developer for this game (which I have just discovered)! It was since the first top spin on xbox that I didn’t enjoy a tennis videogame so much.
Now let me have some questions about career mode. Let’s say I start a new world tour in full career mode. I set Junior 10 as difficulty. I set rank 1000 and I set to start as Pro (18 yrs o) following the tip for newbies
1) is it intended that my char has all base stats starting at 10%?
2) is it intended that I face npcs much stronger than me also in Future tournaments (which should pair me against same ranking players I guess)…as a consequence I loose almost every qualifier match
3) do you suggest to play each week tournament to “improve” faster?
4) what other tips can you give?…

Hello,

1) In Junior difficulty, as a Pro player, you should start with 15% in all your skills + 300XP ; so it should be enough to have 30% in all your skills ; however, there was a bug in the previous version that lead to starting with fewer points. Also, you should redistribute the points to favor the most important skills : Speed, Muscle Tone, Forehand, Serve, Stamina.

2) Indeed, if you have only 10% in your skills, you'll have a hard time to win a match in the Future qualies ; you may want to start again with higher skills. But it's normal to face much stronger opponents than you from time to time.

3) As long as you can spend all your XP in the training screen, then yes you should do a tournament every week

Thanks Emmanuel for the reply. You know it's quite strange...I swear I started several careers as pro at rank 1000 and my char always start at 5% with enough exp to bring everything to 10%...no more than that. I purchased the game from Steam...you were talking about a bug in previous version...is there a different way to have the most updated version (in main screen I read 0.90 by the way)?
