the game has currently several annoying bugs & issues, so it's not a good time to update the Linux version. In a couple of weeks, it should be better, normally.

Ok, I hope you will fix all the bugs so you can upgrade the Linux version. But I was wondering: if you updated now and I encountered old or new bugs while playing, I could report them to you and I would give you a hand in my small way. You would have an extra tester

1) The last time, your 1st question was actually about the latest version

2) I don't want people reporting bugs that have been fixed months ago, so I prefer the Linux version to not have any known bugs

Ok. One last thing: will I need to save my profile before installing the update? How did I do with TE2013? I don't use mods, except for some .ini changes and outfits made by me (or is all this mod anyway? ).

You just delete the game folder & put the new version instead. The user data folder is somewhere else.
