Hello,

I was just wondering whether there's a reason the max FPS defaults to 144 if you turn off VSync, regardless of if the refresh rate is set to 240hz?

I know I can go into the data folder and change the max FPS manually, but wondering if there's a reason it's set to 144 rather than reflecting the monitor hz?

Hello,

IIRC, when I set this limit (likely in TE2013) the max monitor rate was 144 hz, so to avoid the common overheating issue with some GPUs, I set this limit.

I can confirm, having a monitor that can run 144hz, the frame rate max is 144.
