Additional different anim depending on the strike selection?

Could it be possible to implement in the game the possibility to "assign" to a player more animations for the same shot? I know that some anims have che "normal" shot and the acceleration, but still... And the best thing would be even to assign a particular shot depending on the situation, like for example a slice on the stretch only when the player is running towards the ball. But I imagine this one to be even harder to make than the previous suggestion.

I don't know if this hasn't been done because it's hard to do or simply because no one ever thought of it, I'll just leave it here :roll: .

Is this feature under consideration? I think it's a brilliant idea to add more realism to the game and we as end users can enjoy the work from multiple animators. I'm not sure how costly it would be in terms of programming and time, but I think this is right in the realm of possible, not too expensive and something that no other tennis game out there has atm.

Hello,

if there's an animation Modder who wants to do that, he can contact me.

But it may not be possible to mix anims that don't have the same preparation time. (or at least it'd be more complicated coding-wise :thinking: )

I see, so it's not so simple, How about allowing one animation per shot? Right now there are 9 strikes (18 in total, forehand and backhand), If we can have different animations per strike it could add more variety and even feeling to the game. On the top of my head, the slice and drop shot animations should have a totally different termination of the racket, so it could use a different animation.

Yes, I'll likely add that possibility at some point if the animation Modding gets enough Modders... :fear:
