Hi there manutoo, thank you so much for single-handedly developing this greatest tennis video game in the history of mankind. I would like to ask you some questions regarding the game:
1) Have you considered adding the demo to the Steam page of TE4? Not all potential buyers will be attentive enough to know that there is a free demo for all platforms on the official site of managames. Adding your demo on Steam would considerably increase the chance that they try TE4! As a bonus, you get stats such as how many players download your demo from Steam and how long they play it.
2) The XKT patch seems to do a wonderful job to complement the game. Would you consider making its features (if not all, due to licensing issue etc) part of the official game?

I must say this are 2 great ideas!! Regarding the mod I'd love animations (they're working on adding more atm I think) and unbranded clothes to be added to the vanilla experience, I think It"ll be great and help with the console ports

1) A few years ago I put the TE2013 Demo on Steam and it was a total failure : barely anyone downloaded it, and almost no one played it for a long time. So it was extra work & maintenance for nothing, and I removed it after a while. I guess most people use the 2-hour refund window instead, so they get a glimpse of the full version. Therefore, I won't make a demo on Steam and save me some time & hassle.

2) Overall, I guess there are only 2 things that would make sense to add to the main game : animation & unbranded outfits as outlined by Fed1.
If the Modders allow me, I'll put them in the game.

manutoo, thanks for your reply! I really appreciate how you address so timely every question raised in this or the Steam forum.

The partial Mod integration is a great news. As for the demo, maybe as a compromise you can add some descriptions on the Steam page to say that an always up-to-date demo is available on the official site? In this way you don't have to bother with extra maintenance on Steam, and interested gamers don't have to abuse the 2-hour refund window. You know, lowering friction is always good to get more customers!

Oh, new animations and outfits sounds fantastic! Especially for vanilla players like myself.

I think Steam would not be too happy about advertising the demo (which has an order form to buy directly from me).
Overall, in the past 8 years, for all my games (including Dungeon Guardians), I really didn't feel a need for a demo for Steam ; the Steam users in their vast majority seem to not care about demos, and the few that do seem to be able to find them by themselves...

I see. Hopefully more tennis game lovers will discover TE4 and realise how it is the best one on the market!

Well, keep up the great work! So exciting to see TE4 marching steadily towards v1.0 release

Do you still plan to release v1.0 this summer, as stated in the roadmap?
