Possible Cause of Camera Jerkiness

Postby jesp8000 » 24 May 2010, 12:58

Hello Manutoo, I am observing the camera movement in the 3rd person mode, I noticed that the camera follows both the horizontal and the vertical movement of the player and the ball. I think one of the cause of jerkiness is when camera follows the vertical movement. I am not sure, how you do the programming there, but maybe by limiting the way camera follows the vertical movement, it will solve the problem. Like for example, while waiting for the opponent's serve, I notice that the camera seems to go up and down following my body movement. The same thing when I am serving and dribbling the ball. Every time the ball hit the surface, the camera moves which could make it just steady. During rallies, I can see that on my side, the camera follows most ( if not all ) the vertical movements. I think there is no problem with horizontal movement. Nevertherless, the game still rocks. I can have long rallies now.
